The garden is my paradise
It serves as my retreat
Sheltered by the greenery
Protected from the heat
Cool and lush this world of
mine
I place strategically
Mystic crystals shining bright
Nestled by a tree
Dragonflies both big and small
Displayed for all to see
The gentle beauty that is
theirs
And such joy to me
The raven watches from above
In silent majesty
Wise within the spirit world
This totem sets me free
Plants display their character
And attributes abound
With richness in their greenery
A floral palette proud
Streams of sunlight filter down
Enough to warm the earth
And gratefully the foliage
Prepares for spring's rebirth
Outside my door is paradise
A place where peace will thrive
And there I'll be forever more
With heart and soul alive.
